The year is 1914, the world is in flux and ripe with opportunity, throw in the new technologies and a list for dominance and you have a heady mix waiting for you to enjoy. Here you have a map of the world, full of real and AI players and you can use diplomacy or war to strengthen your position, the decision is yours to make.

You begin the game with a small county that is divided into several different regions. Each region has a unique production item, population and can be used to build armies and items you need. You also have the option to build in each province, this will allow you to construct lots of things at the same time, or to specialize in one particular area in each province, such as vehicles or heavy infantry.

There are several resources for you to manage, and you can choose to increase or decrease them as you need. These resources are used to manage everything you own, and if you have an excess or shortfall you can use the Stock Market to trade goods. Once you have the materials you can use them to build your regions up into army producing strength.

This is where the game gets really interesting, there are a lot of options for you here. You can be diplomatic with both the AI and real players, you can choose to be aggressive and go to war and everything in between. Beware though if you overstretch and take on too many countries at once you can really begin to suffer losses.

One of the best features here is that you can have multiple games running at the same time, all of which can provide you with the experience and currency you need to get to the higher levels. There are lots of rewards, new games and fun things you can earn and each game has its own rules. You can also create a game to play with strangers or friends too.

Outside of the resources there are also Goldmarks, these are a rare currency that you can use to speed up production and buy special items. You begin the game with a certain amount and they can be earned through completing games. You also have the option to buy them using real money, and there are a variety of packages available.

Supremacy 1914 has a unique look, that while not the most flashy or modern of games it matches the feel of the era that you are playing in. You can zoom in and out of the map really easily and there is a lot of detail to it. The UI is relatively easy to use and you can easily get to what you need from a menu at the bottom of the screen.

Overall there is a lot of depth to Supremacy 1914 and it has a huge replay value. There are a lot of players and a really nice forum community surrounding it as well as in game chat features.
